Certificate of Training in GHG Accounting consists of the following courses: Basics of Organizational GHG Accounting Basics of Project-level GHG Accounting Setting up a GHG Information Management System for Organizations This certificate is for those interested in a through introduction to GHG accounting and the key standards and best practices in this area. No special technical skills are necessary, although some understanding of climate change is preferred. Upon completion you will be prepared to actively engage in greenhouse gas management and markets. The tuition for the Certificate of Training in GHG Accounting is US$2,950. This includes the tuition for all three courses and all of the associated proficiency exams. The program represents a savings of 20% if the courses were enrolled in separately.		This package is specially designed for CDP respondents not only to help answer the CDP questionnaire but to provide an accessible entry point to the larger universe of carbon accounting. The bundled course includes the following courses: Carbon disclosure Project: How to Respond to Questionnaire Basics of Organizational GHG Accounting The package provides: Review of principals and tools guiding  CDP7 Hands-on exercises to address core carbon accounting principals Exposure to practices embraced by leading organizations including Untied Nations, US EPA, Climate Registry, and Chicago Climate Exchange Credit towards GHGMI’s official GHG Accounting certification Instructors: Jason Smith, ClimateCHECK and Cynthia Cummins, WRIWHO The package fee is USD 1,600. Certificate of Training in GHG Offset Projects consists of the following courses: Introduction to Carbon Markets Basics of Project-level GHG Accounting CDM and JI This certificate is for those focused solely on carbon offset markets, such as the Clean Development Mechanism and Voluntary Carbon Standard. This program is appropriate for project developers, investors, buyers, consultants, and others who want to understand how these markets operate. The tuition for Certificate of Training in GHG Offset Projects is US$2,700. This includes the tuition for all three courses and all of the associated proficiency exams. The program represents a savings of 20%, if the courses were enrolled in separately.
