Certificates of Training

The Institute is currently offering two levels of Certificates of Training for GHG Accounting Experts.

The Level 1 program offers a “Basics of GHG Accounting” Certificate of Training. The package fee for this program is USD 4,000. This includes the tuition for all three courses and all of the associated proficiency exams. Separately, the Level 1 Program would cost $5,550. The package represents a savings of 27%.

The Level 2 program offers an “Advanced GHG Accounting” Certificate of Training. The package fee for this program is USD 7,000. This includes the tuition for all six courses and all of the associated proficiency exams. Separately, the Level 2 Program would cost $11,100. The package represents a savings of 36%.

Proficiency Exam: Basics of Project Level Accounting		Setting Up GHG Information System for Corporations and Organizations

This exam is required in order to receive a certificate of proficiency form the Institute on this course. The exams will take place online, identity will be verified. You can take the exam up to three times during the last week of each class. The exams will be assessed by the Institute's faculty. The certificate of proficiency will delivered upon successful completion of the exam and will be signed by the faculty and the Dean.		Many companies are taking action to manage their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that are a cause of climate change. Establishing a GHG accounting data and quality management systems is a good basis for controlling and reducing emissions in the best way possible. Carbon Disclosure Project: How to Respond to the Questionnaire		Basics of Organizational GHG Accounting

This course provides specific guidance to companies completing the Carbon Disclosure Project’s 6th (CDP6) questionnaire. The course is to be accompanied by the course “Basics of Organizational GHG Accounting”, based on the WRI/WBCSD GHG Protocol for Corporate Accounting. The objective of the course is to provide the learner with (1) contextual information to help address issues in the CDP6 questionnaire, (2) informative guidance and explanation of the tools and frameworks needed to complete the CDP6 questionnaire, and (3) includes exercises, examples, and case studies to further illustrate use of the relevant guidance and tools.		Many companies and other organizations are taking action to manage their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that are a cause of climate change. Starting with an inventory of their sources and emissions (e.g. carbon footprint) is a good basis to design a management system for controlling and reducing emissions in the best way possible. Basics of Project-level GHG Accounting

Many companies are doing special projects or developing new technologies to reduce or avoid greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that cause climate change. These GHG projects are a way to reduce the overall emissions of a company or to create tradable credits that other companies can buy to offset emissions in order to become carbon neutral.
